I picked up my first guitar at 13 or 14 and began writing music almost immediately because it created structure to the words in my mind. This is why songwriting had such an attraction for me because I was able to create a story that truly was how my heart felt in my day-to-day life. I’ve always been good at creating a story from just one small interaction.
